Thank you to everyone who stopped by my tent. Your support and comments are super appreciated. It is always challenging to show artwork publicly and wait for feedback to come - the good, the bad and ugly.
Well, it was all good. I received awesome positive feedback on my works, such as "love the fluidity of your brush strokes", "this piece just speaks to me" and I kept hearing every 15 minutes, "Cows!" and more "Cows", and more "Cows" about my painting titled, "Leader of the Pack". That was painting was definitely a crowd favourite.
Seriously though, there were pieces that I was not feeling confident about showing and yet guests expressed their genuine enjoyment for those pieces. It meant the world to me to hear unfiltered feedback. There were pieces for every taste and I was so happy to see one going to a new home.
I also gave away an original watercolor to a supporter (Michael P). He is super excited to receive the piece and hang it in his home.
Again, thank you to everyone. I had so much fun at the art festival. I am looking forward to next week when I will be hanging my seascape in a city run gallery (Shenkman Art Centre) until September.
